Description | Separate, sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the aforementioned project The major items of work consist of: 1. Temporary Traffic Control 2. Asphalt-Rubber Joint and Crack Seal Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who has not purchased a set of bid documents from the above-mentioned office. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who does not meet the pre- qualification requirements outlined in paragraph B.01. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Owner reserves the right to waive any formality or informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be for the best interest of Owner. Owner has the right to add to and delete from the contract once it has been awarded. Award, if award is made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The successful bidder for this contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
