Description

The School District of Greenville County (SDGC) invites responsible firms to submit a SEALED BID to provide pricing for a new Digital Sign for Southside High School located at 6630 Frontage at White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605-3300 in accordance with the terms and conditions of this solicitation. For more information, the Specifications section should be consulted and is included in this solicitation. This solicitation does not commit the District to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this solicitation or to procure any goods or services. Inquiry Deadline: March 31, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. EDT Questions or comments regarding this solicitation document or the process shall be forwarded, in writing, to Ms. Tonya A. Stroud, Senior Buyer, and Ms. Valarie Southerlin, Buyer, 2 Space Drive, Taylors, South Carolina 29687. Email addresses are: tstroud@greenville.k12.sc.us and vsouther@greenville.k12.sc.us. Inquiries and 2 comments shall be delivered to the Procurement Department no later than March 31, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. EDT. Verbal questions/comments shall not be addressed at any time Project Documents The Project Specifications and Drawings were developed and approved by staff of the SDGC Facilities Department and are included in this solicitation. Pre-Bid Meeting and Job Site Visit The District will not conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting for this project. Project Schedule This project is scheduled for immediate execution after proper award and issuance of a Purchase Order. The successful contractor will be allowed to work nights and weekends only if prior arrangements and approval have been secured from the SDGC Project Manager. After hours work must be coordinated for security guard assistance. Security guard cost will be handled by SDGC. All work shall be completed no later than seven (7) weeks after issuance of a Purchase Order. District Schedule Please note that the District operates on Summer Schedule (Monday through Thursday) beginning June 5, 2023, and ending July 27, 2023. When operating on Summer Schedule, all District locations are closed on Friday.
