Pressure Reducing Valves Replacement Charter Street Heating Plant

In general the work consists of: The replacement of the existing primary campus steam desuperheater and its associated spray water control valve and piping with more appropriately sized components and furnishing an atomizing steam control valve and associated piping for the desuperheater. The work also includes the installation of a new desuperheater and associated spray water and atomizing steam control valves and piping at the boiler feed pump steam turbine drive steam supply line. The project will also replace 20" steam isolation valve and add an 8" steam isolation valve. Work is to be performed at the Charter Street Heating Plant. The desuperheaters, spray water and atomizing steam control valves, and steam isolation valves will be provided by the University for installation by the Contractor.
