Description | As of 2/19/2024, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. The Houston Community College, (HCC and/or the College) is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to furnish and install the HVAC Air Handler Unit Replacements Upgrade Project (Phase II) at HCCs Spring Branch Campus, in accordance with the plans and specifications referenced herein. Deadline to receive written question/inquiries January 18, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. Qualified firms are invited to submit all responses and questions regarding this solicitation electronically through HCC's Bonfire hubhttps://hccs.bonfirehub.com outlining their bid to provide the goods, equipment, and services as described in the Scope of Work, and in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in this IFB. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, permits, equipment, transportation, superintendence, barricades, temporary protection, bracing, shoring, temporary construction of every nature, compliance with all mandated code, insurance, bonds, taxes, contributions and all services and facilities, unless specifically excepted in the bid response, to install all materials, items, and equipment for a complete turn-key project for the HVAC Air Handler Unit (AHU) Replacements Upgrade which includes but not limited to upgraded controls. The AHU Replacements & Controls Upgrade Project consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment, to include removal of three (3) hydronic AHUs, installation of two (2) new AHUs and integration of the new AHUs to the new building control system located at the Spring Branch Campus. The Contractor shall coordinate all work and scope details with HCC Facilities Department and Campus Operations. The project is located at 1010 Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, TX 77043 and will affect 133,192 sq. ft. of cooling area. |
