Chiller Service and Repair

Provide the labor and materials necessary to perform internal inspections on the (2) existing 19XR centrifugal chillers at the USDA Vegetable Lab in Charleston, SC. Scope of work below applies to both chillers: • Lockout tagout • Setup rigging • Recover and weigh refrigerant to certified recovery cylinders • Remove heads to prepare for eddy current testing • Brush and clean the tubes for both the condenser and the evaporator and then perform eddy current analysis • Remove suction 90 • Remove and inspect inlet guide vane (IGV) assembly • Disassemble and inspect diffuser ring; price does not include replacement of rollers or ring • Remove and inspect high speed assembly and transmission • Remove and inspect end bell and low speed bearings • Remove rotor and stator; send motor off for inspection and perform low voltage reconditioning, rotor reconditioning, and rotor balancing • Provide all materials and labor to replace all O-rings • Provide all materials and labor to replace all gaskets • Provide all materials and labor to replace all bearings on the low-speed and high-speed assemblies • Provide all materials and labor to replace all oil filters • Remove and dispose of existing oil per federal regulations • Clean and inspect oil sump and heater • Provide and install new oil charge • Provide all materials and labor to replace relief valves • Evacuate and leak check chiller; chiller will be charged with existing refrigerant, additional trim charge is not included and will be priced separately if needed • Provide start-up and re-commissioning • Factory service performed the site survey, and personnel will install these parts
