| Description | Contractor to install Diver Catwalks above the RS-1 tank made of Dark Grey Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) walkway grating. Demolition of a gunite wall section approximately 3 by 3 feet, 4 inches thick. Repair area, and seal to be ready to install an FRP platform with a ladder in its place. A new catwalk with hand rails will join the ladder to the existing catwalk location which will need to be replaced and widened to ensure it along with the new section and ladder are stable. The set of hand rails on the existing catwalk replacement will need to be removable to allow for a diver to be brought onto the catwalk. A wall pack, plastic with enclosed bulb, with a switch needs to be added to brighten the area when staff is present. |
