J--New - CTX Heat Exchanger/Hot Water Heater Replacement

Replace tube bundles in Bldg. 163 rooms BC150 and BA229 with new. Replace existing heat exchanger in Bldg. 163 room 1D127 with new larger capacity heat exchanger specified by VA. Relocate with new piping to new location specified by VA. • Replace existing tube bundles in Bldg. 163 Penthouse heat exchanges with exact specified replacement per manufactured specifications. • Install existing heat exchanger in Bldg. 163 A5 Mezzanine. Install needed steam and condensate line and properly connect unit to existing steam system. Location determined by the VA. • Replace tube bundles in Bldg. 202 mechanical with new. • Replace existing pneumatic hot water heater in Bldg. 205 mechanical room with new electronic controlled steam generated hot water heater. Specified by VA. • All insulation missing, damaged, removed or inadequate will be reinsulated by the contractor. • All heat exchangers old or new will have a thermostatic air vent and vacuum breaker installed on heat exchangers. • All specifications on items being replaced and installed will be FIELD VERIFIED and the specifications provided to the VA PRIOR to purchase. • This contract is a TURN KEY project. • All work shall be accomplished within sixty (60) calendar days from the date designated by the notice to proceed. • All equipment will be tested and fully functional upon completion of installation.
