Paver Laid Asphalt

The City Council of the City of Faulkton hereby gives notice to all interested bidders that sealed bids will be received at the office of the Finance Officer, Faulkton, South Dakota, until 4:30 pm Friday, March 10th, 2023 for approximately 1,000 tons of paver laid asphalt. The bids will be opened, read and considered on Monday, March 13th, 2023. To be bid in conjunction with chip seal application bids. Specifications will be payment per ton in place with all necessary work including tack oil, blade leveling, milling/grinding and lay down machine. We would like leveling and overlay patchwork in lengths from 30 to 1000 throughout the city. To be completed no later than June 29th, 2023. Traffic control (signs, flag men, etc.) will be contractors responsibility. Envelopes containing bids shall be addressed to City of Faulkton , P.O. Box 21 (105 8th Ave N) Faulkton, South Dakota and bids should be marked: Bid on Paver Laid Asphalt. City of Faulkton requires ALL contractors to carry full insurance which includes Liability and Workmans Comp, and furnish a current Certificate of Insurance, to be included with bid when submitted. Bids not meeting these requirements will be rejected. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept a bid other than the lowest in case it seems advisable. Published two times at the total approximate cost of $35.41.
