Description

The County of Westchester, acting by and through its Department of Correction, pursuant to this Request for Proposals, is soliciting proposals from interested security consultants to conduct a comprehensive study with proposed recommendations for Security System Upgrades at the Countys Norwood E. Jackson Correctional Facility, located at the Valhalla Campus at Grasslands, Valhalla, New York and at the White Plains Courthouse and Transportation Area. The Security Systems to be reviewed include, but are not limited to, building access controls, video surveillance, alarm, fire detection, intrusion detection, housing area water controls, housing area electrical controls and PLC systems. This RFP is intended to help the County select a qualified and experienced security consultant to conduct such assessment and provide the Study Report with recommendations on security system upgrades. Deadline for Requests for Clarifications: Friday, 09/09/2022 by 4:00 pm Deadline for Written Responses: Friday, 09/30/2022 All inquiries, questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing, as set forth below, no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022, and emailed to William Fallon at wpf4@westchestergov.com. Formal written responses will be distributed by the County on or before Friday, September 30, 2022, At this site visit, County staff will further explain the project, address questions and provide a tour of the facility. Proposers shall indicate their interest by contacting William Fallon, Department of Correction via email at wpf4@westchestergov.com no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 26, 2022 by 4:00 PM. Please provide the names of all firm attendees attending the mandatory site visit and indicate if any such attendees have special needs.
