Description | For 2022 Community Crossings Road Improvement Call 2 The Project consists of full depth road reconstruction, road widening, milling and resurface work, curb and gutter construction (4,400 LF), concrete curb ramps, sidewalk (1,800LF), storm sewer structure and pipe installation (330 LF) and other appurtenant work for ten (10) streets totaling an approximate 5,300 linear feet of roadway wholly within the Town of Argos. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Two (2) copies of the seal bids bearing the project name as well as the name and address of the bidder shall be submitted to: Lisa Mullaney, Town Clerk, 201 W. Walnut St, Argos, In 46501. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. Bidder shall submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional Bidding requirements are in the Instructions to bidders included in the Project Documents. There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner. Technical requests must be submitted via email by date one week before bids are due and shall be entitled "Town of Argos 2022 CCMG - Call 2 - Technical Question" Bidding documents will be available on February 28, 2023. Electronic contract documents can be obtained online. There is no fee for registration on the plan holders list and download of electronic bidding documents. General Specifications, description and conditions upon which the bid proposal is to be based are on file for examination at the office of the Engineer, Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. 17 N.
