For Swanton West Bridge Replacement Project Structure No-C007602710 The work shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of: Sta. 24+45 Build 95'-0" 3-Span (2-28'-6" & 1-38'-0") Continuous Concrete Slab Bridge 28'-0" Clear Roadway Special Plan No. 1 The sealed bids are to be sent or submitted to the Clerk of Saline County, Saline County Courthouse, 204 South High Street, Wilber, Nebraska 68465. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Saline County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Saline County Board of Commissioners. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 135 calendar days for completion of the work. The required completion date of the project is October 25, 2024. The Saline Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq. The Saline County Board of Commissioners will, at their discretion, award the contract based on the lowest or best bid. Saline County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
