Ashley and Mcclurg Road Culverts - Contract 1- General

In accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, sealed Bids for the construction of the Ashley & Mcclurg Road Culverts will be received by Town of Richmond. Project includes the replacement of culverts along Ashley Road and McClurg Road within the Town of Richmond. Also includes road restoration, bank stabilization, guide rail installation, driveway culvert, and maintenance and protection of traffic within the Town of Richmond. Sealed Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be a unit prices, as indicated in the Bid Form. For a non-refundable fee of Ten Dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive an Electric Download of the Bidding Documents. 2. For a non-refundable fee of Ten Dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the Bidding Documents. If the CD is to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. 3. For a non-refundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Avalon Planroom. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. The Bidding Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Town of Richmond nor Engineer, nor Avalon will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Town of Richmond, Ontario County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award.
