Description

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Lynn Imaging, 328 Old Vine Street, Lexington, KY, 40507, Phone: 859-255-1021, Website. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined online. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. he project will be funded in part by a U.S. EPA State and Tribal Assistance Grant (STAG) through the Community Grants program. The successful Bidder shall comply with federal Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements. All Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. All Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours Standard Act and 40 CFR 33.1016. All Bidders, Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to Affirmative Action to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals. This project falls under the provisions of KRS 337.505 to 337.550 for prevailing wage rates. This procurement is subject to Kentucky Division of Water Procurement Guidance including the Davis-Bacon Act. Bidders must make positive efforts to use small, minority, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses. If Owner awards the contract for the work, such award shall be to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive Bid. The Work will be substantially completed within 300 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 330 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
