The City of Hays is accepting bids for the construction of Fire Station #3, the remodeling of crew quarters at Fire Station #1, and a Police Garage. Contact KCNR at electronic files. Liquidated Damages: Should the contractor fail to substantially complete the work in the number of calendar days indicated in the bid, the contractor will be charged liquidated damages in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per calendar day that the work is not substantially complete.
