Description | For furnishing all labor, supplies, and supervision necessary for construction of East Slaughter Lane Thaxton Road to US 183, Phase 1 (the Project ). No bids received by fax, email, or other digital means will be accepted. Any proposal received after the closing time will be filed unopened. The Project consists of four separate scopes: East Slaughter Lane Thaxton Road to US 183, Phase 1 - 2.2 miles of new roadway and associated facilities; Easton Park Segment B 36 Water Transmission Main - 2,800 LF of 36 DIP and associated appurtenances; Easton Park Segment C 24 Water Transmission Main - 2,562 LF of 24 DIP and associated appurtenances; and Easton Park Segment D 16 Water Transmission Main 3,800 LF of 16 DIP and associated appurtenances, as well as install and maintain erosion and sedimentation controls, tree removal and final restoration of disturbed areas. Clearing/grubbing and rough grading work will commence via preliminary rough-cut approval prior to final permitting. Contractor shall plan and coordinate all work in accordance with the plans and specifications, as well as other work in the area with the Owner and his/her representatives to minimize disruptions. Mobilization/demobilization will not be paid more than once. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download proposal forms, plans, specifications, and contract documents. The Award will be made on the basis of the lowest responsible bidder that is considered the most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project in accordance with Texas Water Code Section 49.273(c).
