Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-04. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210, with a small business size standard of $19,000,000 annual average receipts (total or gross income) over the past three years. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary for the replacement of various types of light fixtures with new energy efficient Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures at Jerry F. Costello Lock & Dam (JFC) in accordance with work schedule, specifications and drawings provided in the solicitation. Contractor shall provide complete lighting analysis for replacement LED fixtures to verify lighting levels meet specified design criteria and target light levels indicated. Contractor shall select and provide LED fixtures based on lighting analysis and as specified in solicitation. Various optional line items may be elected by the Government. Election of individual optional bid items shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and Government shall not be required to compensate the Contractor for any work associated with optional line items which are not elected. Contractor workmanship and all electrical work shall be in compliance with the latest versions of NFPA 70, IEEE C2, and USACE EM 385-1-1.
