St. Johns River Coal Terminal and Conveyor Demolition, Remediation and Restoration - Two Step Process

Demolition and remediation of the coal conveyor system on SJRPP that interconnects with Blount Island (ship terminal) for St. John’s River Power Park complex, located at 11201 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32226. This contract will include the demolition of equipment and structures located on the coal terminal site and the conveyor right-of-way. It will also include the proper removal of regulated materials, the remediation of any contaminated soil, and the restoration of the site to an industrial standard. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is Step 1 in which JEA will evaluate a company’s qualifications. JEA is requesting companies to submit their qualifications (the “Qualifications Package”) for JEA to develop a list of qualified companies (the “Qualified List”). The Qualified List will be developed on a Pass / Fail basis as to whether the company’s experience meets the Minimum Qualifications stated in this RFQ. The companies on the Qualified List will be eligible to participate in Step 2 to submit a bid (the “Bid”) in response to JEA’s Invitation for Bid (“IFB”). The IFB will require the qualified companies (the “Bidders”) to submit an all-inclusive Bid price to complete the scope of services identified in the IFB.
