City Owned Generator Repair

• Replace and install 16-cylinder head (can be re-manufactured) • Replace all 16-cylinder head gaskets, seals, and spacer plates • Replace any broken exhaust bolts • Replace all 16-cylinder packs (can be re-manufactured) -Packs shall include seals, pistons, rings, cylinder liner, and connecting rods with bearings • Replace all 16 oil sprayers and fasteners • Replace all 16 injectors (can be re-manufactured) -Shall include all gaskets and seals • Replace both Turbos (can be re-manufactured) • Replace all gaskets and seal within the thermostat housing assembly • Refill with coolant that is on site • Replace engine oil filters • Fill engine with 15W40 engine oil • Test run engine under load for proper operations • Out of the 16 heads, 16 packs, 16 injectors and 2 turbos that need to be replaced, Cat or Cat authorized dealer will need to warranty 1 head, 1 pack, 1 injector, and 1 turbo, therefore price should only reflect 15 heads, 15 packs and 1 turbo but vendor will be responsible for all work. • Option for Caterpillar extended warranty to cover this unit.
