Description | The Contractor shall be responsible for but not limited to tasks such as the following: 1. Installation of new equipment: VFD's, switchgear, Combination starters, light fixtures, etc. 2. Installation of conduit &wire 3. Wire terminations 4. Ability to perform medium voltage terminations and splices 5. Startup of new equipment 6. Rehabilitation of existing equipment: VFD's, switchgear, Combination starters, light fixtures, etc. 7. Replacement/Upgrade of existing equipment: VFD's, switchgear, Combination starters, light fixtures,etc. 8. Troubleshoot electrical circuits and/or systems 9. Perform Meggar test on cables, sometimes motors 10. Replacement of lamps/ballast/light fixtures: including pole lights 11. Demolition 12. Installation of anchors, sleeves, hangers, inserts, and accessories required for the proper installation of all conduit, wiring and equipment to be installed, including those to be installed in the forms before concrete is placed or in masonry construction. 13. Installation of stands, racks, brackets, supports, and similar equipment required to properly mount VFD's, lighting panels, power panels, breakers, fused switches, starters, pump control panels, light fixtures, etc. 14.Perform wiring checks, labeling, testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. 15. Have experience with protective devices (relay, breaker, and fuses) including an understanding of the settings and device coordination. 16. Have experience interpreting electrical schematics, single line diagrams, etc. and also be capable of making "as-built" changes to existing electrical drawings 17.Possess experience troubleshooting generator systems including generator switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS |
