Description

Permanent flow monitoring program for operation, maintenance, and data analysis of the flow monitoring network currently in place. Metro Water Services (MWS) currently has 70 ADS mainline Triton+ (UVP) flow monitors installed in sewers ranging from 8 inches to 84 inches in diameter. MWS also has 19 overflow (UVP) Triton+ flow monitors installed in overflow lines and has one FlowShark Pulse installed in a CSO structure. MWS maintains a rain gauge network consisting of 21 tipping bucket rain gauges in conjunction with Rain Alert III rain gauges. MWS currently has 8 TritonXIO meters (4-20mA) at billing sites and two Accusonic flow meters. In addition, MWS has 19 Triton+ (UVP) spare flow monitors in storage for use in the collection system as needed and 10 ECHO depth monitors for specialized studies. MWS also includes in the contract 6 flow monitors and 1 rain gauge owned by the City of Goodlettsville, 2 flow monitors owned by the City of LaVergne, 1 flow monitor owned by the City of Brentwood, and 1 flow monitor owned by the City of Millersville. All of the above equipment communicates wirelessly with the internet-based system via 3G communications. If the Contractor chooses to replace the current flow monitoring network, all meters must meet the following requirements
