Cohoes Avenue: Improving ADA Compliant crosswalks and ramps Improving Pedestrian Safety through the use of High Visibility Crosswalks Improving Cyclist Safety through the corridor as part of the Empire State Trail The potential recycling and reuse of existing pavement through the mill and fill pavement preservation process The incorporation of the following Complete Streets elements: Alignment with the Village’s Comprehensive Plan Planned sidewalks and pedestrian crossing facilities where needed Improved Bike Route signage (if needed) for the Mohawk-Hudson Bike/Hike Trail (NYS Bike Route 9)/Empire State Trail Constructing ADA compliant curb ramps at intersections, where necessary Addressing conflicts between cyclists, pedestrians and motorists Preservation of safe medians between sidewalks and the roadway Address roadside parking in the south end of the project
