Description | Questions Due Date: Jan 26th 2023, 5:00 PM PST This Contract provides for the repair of City-owned pools, spas, water slides, water features and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Provisions. Services requested include, but are not limited to: o Plumbing permits as required o Water feature plumbing repairs as needed o Water feature plumbing underground piping run repairs from pumphouse to water features as needed, to include excavation and returning area to as is condition o Pool/Spa drain clearing o Pool/Spa walls & bottom patching as needed o Electronic leak detection as needed o Confined space access following OSHA and L&I safety procedures and permits/forms o Slide repairs stainless steel bolts, inspections, tighten or replace o Slide fiberglass inspections and repairs as needed o Slides at pools replaced as needed o Water feature repairs o Water feature lighting repairs or adding when requested o Pool and Spa UV repair and UV bulb replacement as needed o Pool and Spa filter sand, lateral and diffuser and gaskets replacement (In that order) The City intends to award one contract for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for one (1) additional year. The period of this Bid and its prices shall be for one (1) year, commencing on the effective date of the contract. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
