Description | BIDS are invited for: Demolition/Site Clearance Contract 1050 East Main Street, Wanamie, and Contract 2: 128 Main Street, Glen Lyon, PA BID PROPOSALS are unique and must be upon the provided. Bids will be rejected from any bidder not with the Engineer. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates apply to any contract $25,000.00. The project is funded by grants from the Local Share Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, wealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this ity are to be met by the Bidders. Non-discrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work be required to comply with the President's Executive # 11246 and will be required to ensure that employees and plicants for employment are not discriminated against on basis of their race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, ability or familial status in employment or the provision of vices. In addition to EEO Executive Order 11246, must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000 per the notice of requirement for affirmative action as tained in the contract documents. Bidder agrees that the Work will be will be substantially complete within 15 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run Attention is called to 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 179 LU and the Section 3 clause and regulations set forth 24 CFR, Part 135. The Township of Newport reserves the right to reject any or Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding and is an EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
