Description Replacement Of Bridges 252.2 & 252.8, Hopewell – Rocky Hill Road Over Branch Of Bedens Brook, Mercer County. The Work To Be Performed Under This Contract Includes, But Is Not Necessarily Limited To, The Demolition And Removal Of The Existing Two Bridges Carrying Hopewell – Rocky Hill Road Over Branch Of Bedens Brook In Its Entirety Including All Appurtenances. The Replacement Structure 252.2 Shall Consist Of a Single-Span Prefabricated Concrete Superstructure With Full-Height Prefabricated Concrete Abutments And Prefabricated Concrete Footings. The Replacement Structure 252.8 Shall Consist Of a Single-Span Prefabricated Concrete Rigid Frame And Precast Concrete Footings. The Structures Will Support a 38'-0" Wide Cartway And a 5'-Wide Sidewalk Along The North Side. Prefabricated Concrete Parapets Will Be Used At Both Structures. The Structure Has Been Designed To Use Prefabricated Substructure And Superstructure Units To Expedite The Construction And Minimize The Length Of Time That The Roadway Is Closed To Traffic. Roadway Work Includes Precast Concrete Approach Slabs, The Replacement Of Hma Pavement, New Approach Guiderail Systems, Concrete Sidewalk Construction, Concrete Curbs; Installation Of Type "b" Inlets, 15" And 18" Rcp, Excavation, Topsoiling, And Seeding.
