Readfield Public Library Roof Replacement and Fire Station Expansion

Full replacement of the Readfield Public Library roof and an expansion of the Fire Station. These buildings are located across from one another on Rt. 17 at Readfield Corner. Library work will generally include full demolition of the existing roof down to the wall top plate and installation of a new engineered wood truss system, sheathing, standing seam metal roof, fascia and trim, and insulation. The Fire Station Expansion will generally consist of the construction of a 20’ x 72’ attached apparatus bay, the construction of a 32’ x 46’ multi-purpose addition, installation of a subsurface wastewater disposal system, and associated site work.
