1. The tractor needs to be at least 110hp. And 90 hp. At the PTO 540/1000. 2. The tractor needs to have an enclosed ROPS approved cab, with heat and air conditioning, full gauges, mirrors, windshield wiper on front and back, safety lighting and strobe mounted on top of the cab, SMV emblem on rear. 3. Fuel tank should be at least 56 gallons. Weight of the tractor should be at least 8,800lbs. without the boom and mulcher head. 16 forward/8 reverse dual power shuttle. 4. Should include ballasted weight on the heels opposite of the boom mower. Rear axle differential lock. 5. The mower should be a mulching style head 6. The mower should be able to cut up to a 10” tree or heavy brush. 7. The mower should have at least 30 rotatable and replaceable teeth. 8. The mower should have a cutting area of 50” and at least a 36” cutting shaft. 9. The cutter housing should have a yield strength of 3/8” steel at 100,000. 10. Cutter should have a 7 second safety shut down. 11. The mower head should not exceed 930lbs. Operator’s, parts, and service manuals must be in paper form Tractor and cutter must be delivered the Burke County Road Department. State date of delivery.
