West High School Addition & Renovation - Phase 3

The general nature of the work is as follows: 1. A building addition will house new administration offices and a new main entrance, and an exterior patio area will be constructed for student 2. The existing choir/orchestra space and media center will be remodeled as well as the existing administrative offices, which will be converted to a student commons space. 3. The existing HVAC systems serving the auditorium wing will be replaced with new geothermal sourced systems. 4. Under bid alternates existing restrooms and concesssions space will be remodeled. The work must commence on or about July 31, 2023 and must be substantially completed on August 15, 2025 Location- 2901 Melrose Ave, Iowa City, IA 52246 The Owner seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in the awarding of contracts and is authorized to award contracts to Targeted Small Businesses per the Iowa Actsof the 73rd General Assembly, 1989 Regular Session, Senate File 2274.
