Description

The project scope includes the new construction of a gas liquefaction manufacturing and storage facility. Above-ground equipment will be installed on foundations As of February 1, 2017, this project is pending certification by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). An engineering and design contractor has been selected. This contractor will also serve as the construction manager. Construction is expected to begin March 2017.* As of March 29, 2017, FERC certification is expected to be received June 2017 allowing for construction to commence August 2017. If that timeline is followed, project completion is expected December 2018. As of August 15, 2017, the FERC certification is expected in 2018. A timeline for construction for construction is not currently known. As of February 22, 2018, an Environmental Assessment (EA) is expected to be received from FERC by March 30, 2018. Once received, there is a 90-day deadline for the Federal Government to issue a decision. A timeline for construction is not currently known but could commence third quarter 2018. As of July 13, 2018, an Environmental Assessment (EA) was received in June and construction was approved. Project is now in the public comment phase thru the end of July 2018. If final order is approved in late August, early September, construction is expected to commence Spring 2019. As of March 27, 2019, the construction team is mobilizing on site and construction will commence as soon as FERC gives them Notice to Proceed.
