Buttonwood Park - Roof Replacement

The Work consists of: roof replacement. 1. Remove three (3) existing metal roof down to the wood deck on the restroom, gazebo, and pavilion buildings. 2. Provide and install three (3) new complete Englert 0.040 Aluminum S1300 Series 16” inch Metal Roof Systems, or PBC approved equal, with all new manufacturer’s approved curbs and accessories as needed. New roofing shall have the Kynar 500 Premium Paint finish or PBC approved equal. Use only manufacturer’s approved fasteners, clips, accessories, etc., which meet or exceed Florida Building Code. Full length panels (no joints) other than curb flashings as needed. 3. The new roof systems shall also include the replacement of up to 100 lineal feet of Tongue and Grove decking to match existing. All wood decking nailing shall be brought up to meet current code. Additional or new nailing shall consist of ring shank nails. No nail or screw penetrations through the tongue and groove underside of pavilions or gazebo will be acceptable. 4. Install one layer of Titanium PSU 30 peel and stick underlayment made by Inter Wrap, or PBC approved equal according to the Manufacturer’s installation requirements. 5. Panel lay outs to be provided to PBC for review and approval. 6. Replace all drip edges with new .040 aluminum with a factory finish to match the new roof panels. Add additional strip of 1”x (match drip edge) cedar between drip edge and fascia (consistent with current system at restroom). 7. Proposed Roof color to be determined from the Standard Englert Color Selection by PBC Parks Department or PBC approved equal. Contractor shall verify prior to ordering. 8. The Contractor shall be responsible for panel lay out and for the relocation of any plumbing or mechanical penetrations required to ensure that they are centered in the roof panel. New Curbs shall be manufacturer’s approved welded water tight curbs to match new roof panels. 9. Replace, prime and paint to match up to 50 L.F. of rotted/deteriorated fascia boards.
