Structural and Structure Related Services

Retain a consultant firm for (1) open-end agreement for the services indicated below on various projects. The work location will be Central Office but may also include District Offices, consultant office, or other statewide locations directed by the Department. Provide independent analysis and advice leading to sound engineering decisions, support and 'on demand' staff as needed and during emergencies, project management, and QA/QC processes. The Department will select a firm for a statewide open-end contract to provide engineering and project management for bridge inspection and structural analysis, bridge maintenance, bridge management systems and databases, fatigue and fracture investigation, scour investigation, material testing and evaluation, bridge instrumentation and/or evaluation for various types of structures. These structures include, but are not limited to, major or unusual or complex structures, highway lighting structures, sign structures, earth retaining structures, and tunnels. The work includes NBIS and NTIS expertise with FHWA metrics and Independent Oversight Programs.
