Sources Sought: Giant Voice System Maintenance

Requested services require assessing structural integrity, assuring all system components operate within manufacturer specifications and include: a. Providing training assistance for new operators and maintenance personnel, if needed. b. Archiving data files in the ATI software. c. Verifying communication and adjusting the Giant Voice Towers’ and the Control Stations’ receive and transmit RF radio levels. d. Verifying power supply (solar and ac) and battery charger voltages. e. Load testing all batteries. f. Testing and inspecting each speaker site. g. Verifying speaker heads and amplifiers. h. Checking integrity of wiring connections. i. Verifying all statuses to confirm proper operation. j. Confirming wattage output of the radio k. Checking integrity of antennas and coaxial cables. l. Inspecting enclosures for signs of rust, damaged door gaskets, etc. and treating/repairing as necessary. m. Performing necessary activations (live broadcast, pre-recorded messages and tones) to verify full system functionality. n. Reporting issues or problems to the 4th Communications Squadron’s COR.
