Radio Tower Erection Service - RKB Site

Site work for a mixed-use development in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility. This RFB seeks a contractor who shall provide all materials, machinery, tools, equipment and services to completely assemble and erect one radio tower in accordance with these specifications and all applicable EIA and manufacturer published drawings and requirements. If Bidder's total bid price exceed $50,000, the bid response shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty equaling 5% of the total amount of the bid. The successful Contractor shall pay for and furnish, when applicable, within 10 days after written notice of acceptance of estimate, Performance and Labor and Materials Bonds. Contractor shall provide and pay the cost of Performance and Payment Bonds, on forms generally used by County, each in full amount of the "Not to Exceed" amount for the stipulated work, issued by a Surety Company licensed in Missouri, with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide, Property Liability," which shall show a financial strength rating of at least five (5) times the Contract Price. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond The County reserves the right to reject any or all Responses. Minor irregularities or informalities in any Response which are immaterial or inconsequential in nature and are neither affected by law nor at substantial variance with Bid conditions, may be waived at our discretion whenever it is determined to be in the County's best interest.
