Construction of an Access Road From Market Street to the OMS Parking Lot

As of March 9, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. Alamosa Public Schools is seeking bids for construction of an Access Road from Market Street to the OMS Parking lot. The following is a list of the work required: 1) Clear and grub path of new road 2) Subgrade preparation and compaction 3) Furnish and Install approximately 3,500 tons pit run 4) Furnish and Install approximately 700 tons Class 5 ABC road base 5) Compaction tests will be 3rd Party and at district expense 6) Bids are REQUIRED to be Not to Exceed PRICING 7) Protect all district property while working on site-all damage will be deducted from contract 8) All on-site personnel must pass a background check (District must receive all copies prior to beginning work) 9) Portable restroom facilities to be included in bid. School restrooms are not available 10) Contractor to provide all power requirements (electric, gas water, etc.) 11) Written minimum 2 year warranty for all work. 12) Workers Compensation Certificate required (All certificates required before work starts) 13) Minimum $2,000,000 Liability, vehicle coverage required with school district endorsement 14) ADD ALTERNATE: Pricing for approximately 360 tons of asphalt paving furnished and installed with painted crosswalks and (2) solid centerlines 15) Provide documentation on Oil pricing for bidding purposes should oil prices increase. District will allow adjustments to asphalt costs (ONLY) 16) Work required to be completed prior to March 1, 2023 Alamosa Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and according to BOE policies is not required to accept the lowest bid.
