Description | PN-212204 Site Directions: 1101 Linden Lane, Faribault, MN 55021 REBID #2 Replace PLC Controls at Minnesota Correctional Facility - Faribault This project is Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged/Veteran-Owned (TG/ED/VO) certified small business preference. A. The work will done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) All engineering, equipment, labor, programming and permits required to satisfactorily complete the following improvements related to the PLC controls replacement of medium-voltage equipment at the MCF-Faribault facility. Existing power generator and power transfer equipment is in good shape and can be reused. The PLC controls for the medium-voltage paralleling gear and related equipment are failing and require replacement. Contractor shall replace contents of PLC controls cabinet and program the system similar to existing. Existing schematics information will be provided for system details. Pre-registration is required. All attendees are required to email jmedeiros@woldae.com and karl.hunt@state.mn.us by 12:00 PM CST on Friday, July 15, 2022 indicating their intent to attend the pre-bid meeting. Contractors must complete the background check and consent forms provided in Section 00 73 02 and submit to karl.hunt@state.mn.us with a photo of a valid driver's license by 12:00 PM CST on Friday, July 15, 2022. Responses received from Prime Contractors (including electrical contractors bidding as a prime) that did not attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be rejected. NOTE: Prospective contractors that attended the first pre-bid meeting on March 15, 2022 or the second pre-bid meeting on June 8, 2022 are NOT required to attend the re-bid #2 meeting to submit responses. Contractor questions must be submitted to Wold Architects & Engineers by 4:00 PM CST on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Questions can be emailed to jmedeiros@woldae.com and bjohannsen@woldae.com. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. |
