Description

It is the intent of the Town of Woodbridge to process approximately 7,000+/- cubic yards (the pile) of green waste materials, inclusive of branches, logs, and stumps, ground to a minimum size of 2-inches. Multiple step processing is acceptable to attain the desired 2-inch maximum size. A second grinding may be required if the processed product is unacceptable to the Town standards and/or Director of Public Works. A long stranded process product is considered unacceptable. It is preferred that an option bid price be included for debris removal, in such case a second grind and size of material is not critical. Materials shall be utilized in manner acceptable to Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). It is the responsibility of the processor to provide adequate equipment necessary to feed materials to the processing equipment from the stockpile of raw material.
