| Description | The Project includes the following Work: Base Bid: Installation of pre-manufactured filtration unit for PFOS treatment (40'long x 10' wide); excavation and installation of concrete pad; anchor treatment unit; installation of water piping, booster pump, electrical and alarm upgrade, sanitary sewer installation, milling and paving and other incidental items. Work to take place at 1 Young Drive Rocky Hill, NJ 08553. (Contractor to coordinate with site Vendor for delivery and set up of equipment). Priority to install Filter unit and put into service prior to November 1, 2023. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the base bid or to reject all bids. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Martucci Engineering LLC, 49 East Main Street, Flemington, New Jersey 08822, the office of the Borough Engineer Robert Martucci (rmartucci@martucciengllc.com) (908- 483-5415). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Monday Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 9am and 3pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service.Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. This project is subject to the Build America Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L 117-58 7091-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel manufactured products and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. USEPA Domestic Preference - Same as USDA All bidders please be advised that this project is also funded in part from a Federal assistance agreement between EPA and the Borough of Rocky Hill. In accordance with State, local or tribal laws and regulation as well as Federal laws and Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) - 2 CFR Part 200, 40 CFR Part 33 and/or 40 U.S.C. Part 1101 et seq., all bidders shall acknowledge the federal requirements and provisions for construction contracts including, but not limited to: the Davis-Bacon Act; EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program; Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act; and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Act." |
