Description

The Town of Maynard, Massachusetts, in accordance with MGL. C. 30B, acting through its Select Board is requesting sealed proposals for the acquisition and development of the town's former fire station, located at 1 Summer Street ("The Property") along the gateway to the vibrant downtown Maynard. The 9,986 square foot brick building, built in 1955, is sited on a lot of .37 acre (approximately 16,000 square feet). Purchase and Sale (PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT) Agreement completed* June 12, 2023 Closing of sale* Estimated to be 90 days after Town Meeting Authorization. Subject to change depending on selected proposal's closing deliverables. Questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing to Gregory Johnson, Town Administrator, Maynard Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754. Questions may be delivered or mailed to this address, clearly addressed to Gregory Johnson. All questions must be received by March 23, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Written responses will then be emailed to all proposers on record as having picked up or downloaded the RFP. The Town may, at its option, interview developers as part of this selection process. However, selection may take place without such interviews. Therefore, proposals should be complete as initially submitted. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to negotiate any and all non-mandatory contract terms with the successful proposer, or to cancel this procurement at any time if it is deemed in the Town's best interest to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
