FY2023 Jules Bisson Basketball Court Resurfacing

The City of Somersworth is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to resurface an existing basketball court surface as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB). Bidders must carefully read each specification outlined below Bidders making proposals must respond in writing to all requirements of this Request for Bid (RFB). Responses should reflect detailed considerations of the issues and opportunities presented by this specific project. Any additional information or tasks that are felt to be relevant by the responding Bidder should be included together with the submittal requirements. Costs incurred for the preparation of a proposal in response to this RFB shall be the sole responsibility of the Bidder submitting the proposal. The City of Somersworth reserves the right to select or reject any Bidder that it deems to be in the best interest to accomplish the project specified. The City reserves the right to accept the proposal on one or more items of a proposal, on all items of a proposal or any combination of items. The City reserves the right to discontinue the selection process at any time prior to the awarding of a contract. The City reserves the right to waive defects and informalities of the proposals. Any questions related to the requested work should be directed to Scott Smith, Deputy City Manager/Director of Finance and Administration via email at sasmith@somersworth.com by 4:30 PM on Thursday September 29, 202 The City of Somersworth requests that the work be scheduled so that substantial completion date is no later than Friday November 4, 2022 and a final completion date of Wednesday November 30, 2022. Any qualified contractor interested in this project, but unable to meet the proposed schedule with a final completion date of November 30, 2022, but could otherwise perform the work in the spring of 2023 is encouraged to submit a bid with a proposed revised schedule. The City retains the right to award this project to the bidder that best meets the Citys benefit when considering cost and/or schedule

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
