Project Name: Cooke Park Construction Project Location: Cass Township, Richland County Description: Site Preparation, Storm Drainage, Excavation and Embankment, Base Prep, Landscaping, and Asphalt Paving This contract shall be let in accordance with the bidding documents (as defined in the instructions to bidders included therein) on file at the park district headquarters. A copy of said bidding documents may be obtained by bidders from the park district. All questions concerning the project should be directed to Stephanie Featheringill, Director at (419) 289-3524 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either: 1 A certified check or cashier s check made payable to the Ashland County Park District or a letter of credit meeting the requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid amount conditioned to provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a proper contract for the work: or 2 A Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond, for the full amount of the bid, written upon an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, conditioned as provided in Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. A form of this bond is included in the Project Manual. All questions concerning the project should be directed to Stephanie Featheringill, Director at (419) 289- 3524 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday through Friday Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the park district and filed in a sealed envelope clearly marked, Cooke Park Construction Project by the time and date set forth above. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and/or best bidder. Ashland County Park District Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. It is the intent of the Park District that all work should be substantially completed by July 31, 2023. Substantial Completion is exceeded, the Contractor shall pay to the Board the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per day for liquidated damages,

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Operation and Maintenance of Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
