Description

The project generally consists of interior room upgrades. The project has a construction budget of $900,000.00. Funding is being provided by a federal grant. Federal prevailing wage rates must be paid. Construction work is anticipated to begin on june 12, 2023 and be completed on or before august 18, 2023. Your technical proposal must contain the following information: 1. The identity of the proposed team; 2. A project-specific plan to deliver the expected services, including, but not limited to: A. Communication with the proposed team; B. Cost control during the preconstruction phase; C. Cost control during the construction phase; D. Preconstruction phase administration; E. Construction phase administration; F. Safety management; G. Quality control. 3. Performance criteria components including: A. Schedule; B. Approach to the work, including any anticipated self-performed work; C. Work sequencing; D. Performance history; E. Plan for anticipated procurement difficulties; For the purpose of evaluating the performance criteria, the performance criteria shall be weighted as follows: 1. Project-specific plan (15 points possible); 2. Schedule (15 points possible); 3. Approach to the work (15 points possible); 4. Work sequencing (15 points possible); 5. Performance history (15 points possible); 6. Plan for anticipated procurement difficulties (15 points possible); Along with your qualifications the following information shall be included: 1. Provide a brief description of the size and number of projects similar in scope to this project, completed over the last 5 years. Include the contact names and phone numbers for the owner and the architect so they may be contacted. 2. Provide a description of any projects or assignments on which your firm was terminated for any reason, or on which your firm was replaced as a general contractor, construction manager, or cmar during the last 5 years. 3. Responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the town send community school will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm.
