| Description | 1. Existing metal roofing system on the steep-slope areas is to remain in place. Areas of corrosion are to be repaired as required for proper securement of new roofing system. Roof Size is approximately 70,000 square ft. 2. Existing metal roofing that is on vertical surfaces of the building fascia at drainage edges and at the parapet walls at the high side of the roof is to be removed down to the plywood substrate. 3. The roofing system insulation shall be an isocyanurate insulation fill to be custom fit between ribs in existing metal panel roofing and an additional layer of min 1.5” layer of insulation over the entire roof area. 4. The replacement membrane assembly consists of the application of fleece-back PVC single-ply membrane fully adhered to the insulation. Decorative ribs to simulate the look of standing seam metal are to be applied to the field membrane. Scope of Work includes installation of a new perimeter wood nailers and edge metal. 5. Vertical surfaces are to receive a metal panel system between the top of brick and drainage edge of the steep-slope roof. 6. Roofing membrane installation shall be required on-going inspections by the membrane manufacturer during the installation process and will be eligible to receive a 20 year NDL material and labor warranty. | ||
