Description | The Project consists of improvements to the pedestrian access, parking, and community connection along W. Queen St from Mechanic St to the Pendleton Community Center. The construction and modifications consist of the following: a. Clearing and grubbing, civil/site work, etc. b. Installation of new influent lift station and influent gravity line modifications. c. Grating and handrail replacement for primary lagoon effluent structure. d. Electric actuator replacement for effluent control valve. e. Construction of new chlorine contact basin and installation of chlorination/dechlorination equipment. f. Installation of new creek flow measuring instrument. g. Installation of rip rap at outfall structure. h. New automatic transfer switch for existing emergency generator. i. Miscellaneous valving and piping. j. Electrical work and controls. All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. local time on Thursday November 10th, 2022 via email to tyler.morgan@gmcnetwork.com. The Project consists of the improvements to the pedestrian access, parking, and community connection along West Queen Street from Mechanic Street to the Pendleton Community Center Bidders must also make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned business and to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. All bidders are advised that the application with cost estimate is available for review. The owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI if the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
