Z--Replace Timber Curb & Sidewalk Park Lots

Work for this project consists of removing approximately 6,049 feet of deteriorated wood timber (6-inch x 6-inch) curbing, and approximately 4,259 feet of asphalt walkway in ten parking lot areas throughout the park. The project would also consist of installing approximately 6,049 feet of 6-inch concrete curbing, gutters, and 4259 feet by 6 feet wide concrete sidewalks. All sidewalks, curbs, and gutters will slope to the parking lots. All sidewalks and handicap walks and parking spaces shall meet ABA regulations. Cliff shelf trail has a bump out of asphalt currently being used for a walkway and will need replaced with concreate see picture below. When installing new curb/gutter a cut no more than 5 foot away from where curb/gutter are going to be installed should be made into the parking lot. The new curb/gutter shall tie into the new asphalt. The new asphalt will then tie into the existing asphalt in the parking lot. Not more than 2 sites will be closed off at one time. Contractor should not move to put a new site under construction until the work at one or both sites under construction is complete and ready for vehicle use.
