Chester County School District CIP - New CHS Stadium and Sports Complex

Plans call for the construction of a new sports complex featuring the following: - New Stadium 4,000 seats with Track, New Turf Field, New Field House and Press Box - New Baseball & Softball Field with a dedicated Press Box for each and Batting Cages - 2 Practice Fields - Band Practice Field - 6 Tennis Courts - Area for future growth As of May 30, 2023, this project was approved by the school board. Currently there are no submissions to the South Carolina Office of School Facilities for approval. An architect and construction manager have been selected. Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed. A firm timeline has not been released, however construction should start before the end of 2024.
