As of October 04, 2022, bids rejected for this project. They plan to bid the project out again sometime in 2023. The Utility Service Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity in the bids and in the bidding process, and to accept such bids as it deems to be in the best interest of the Jasper Municipal Utilities. FAILURE TO RETURN ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WITH YOUR QUOTE MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF THE QUOTE. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the opening of the bids and no bidder may withdraw his bid for ninety days following the bid opening. No Bid Bond is required for this project. Relatives which became effective July 1, 2012. Those submitting a Bid will be required to make such disclosures as may be necessary for the City of Jasper to successfully implement that policy and otherwise comply with the Indiana Code pertaining to Nepotism Policy requirements. In addition, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Affidavit Regarding Non-responsibility, and an Indiana Legal Employment Declaration must be completed and included with the bid. The contractor submitting the successful bid will be notified by Jasper Municipal Utilities to proceed with the project. Costs or expenses incurred while preparing the bid will not be reimbursed.
