Springtree Wastewater Treatment Plant Storage and Equipment Building - City of Sunrise

UPDATE: https://www.sunrisefl.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/7691/638043009402670000 The City recently replaced Hight Service Pump (HSP) Station "A" at Springtree WTP with exterior slab mounted pumps and the existing maintenance building has aged to its useful life and requires replacement. This project provides for replacement of the maintenance building and additional storage lost from the demolition of HSP Station "A" building. The new building will be approximately 6,000 square feet. It will be located on the adjacent parcel that the City Purchased in 2016. The site will be cleared of all remaining foundations and structures and will be enclosed with a wall to match the existing wall around the plant. This project will have a solar photovoltaic array on the roof capable of producing approximately 10 kwh of power to operate the building during the day. This project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of November 21, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. _____________________________________________________ A more detailed scope is expected to be released on a future date.
