Crystal Lake Bathhouse - Renovate, Replace - City of Newton

As of April 26, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. This project is included in the City of Newton Capital Improvement Plan fiscal year 2024-2028. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. Existing bathhouse is in poor condition with limited accessibility. Renovate/Replace bathhouse and improve swim beach front. Built in 1931, this is a 9,581 square foot seasonal building that provides restrooms and changing facilities for use of the Crystal Lake Public Beach for approximately two months during the summer. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
