Description | Contract No. 1 – General Construction – Flood Damage Shoreline Stabilization Projects: Scope of work consists of the repair of the retaining wall and adjacent concrete sidewalk at Centennial Park and the repair of the Riverwalk Retaining Wall and replacement of the adjacent Village Docks at Veteran’s Memorial. Retaining Wall and Concrete Sidewalk Repairs at Centennial Park – Scope of work consists of construction offshore from the Centennial Park Retaining Wall to the west of Riverside Drive. Repair of the Retaining Wall within its existing footprint (approximately 143 linear feet), including resetting two (2) tipped limestone retaining wall blocks, removal of subbase material and damaged filter fabric, installing new filter fabric and subbase material, grouting joints of existing limestone Retaining Wall, replacing concrete sidewalk (143 linear feet of 10 feet wide; 16 linear feet of 3 feet wide), replacing approximately 25 linear feet of 24-inch SICPP, and placing/grading gabion stone beneath and around existing wooden decking on the shoreline. Clayton Riverwalk Retaining Wall Restoration at Veteran’s Memorial: Scope of work consists of construction offshore from the Riverwalk at the south end of John Street. Construction of structural improvements of the Riverwalk Retaining Wall (68 linear feet), including removal and disposal of deteriorated retaining wall, installing new sheet piling, whaler and tie back system, replacing 6-inch diameter drainage system (13 linear feet), reconstruction in-kind of 8-foot wide sidewalk section, and removal and reset of existing bollards and dry stacked concrete wall units. Village Dock Replacement at Veteran’s Memorial: Scope of work consists of construction offshore from the Riverwalk at the south end of John Street including installing an aluminum gangway connection, five floating concrete pontoon modules SF Marina BW300 or equal, of 50 feet each (total of 250 feet length), 20 pre-cast concrete anchor blocks (approximately 8 feet 10 inches wide; 8 feet 3 inches long; 4 feet high) and anchor modules using 10-strand Seaflex mooring system or equal. |
