Description | This project involves campground parking lot modifications to comply ADA requirements Work includes furnishing all new materials, utilities, equipment, supplies, labor, transportation, fuel, and power, performing all work as required by Contract, in strict accordance with Specifications and Drawings. Work shall be complete, and all work, materials and services not expressly called for in Specifications, or specifically indicated on Drawings which may be necessary for complete and proper construction to carry out Contract in good faith, shall be performed, furnished, and installed by CONTRACTOR at no additional cost to GOVERNMENT. Work shall be executed in the best and most workmanlike manner by qualified, careful, and experienced workmen. If not previously secured and furnished by GOVERNMENT or KO, it shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR to obtain all necessary permits. Where permits have been previously obtained by GOVERNMENT or KO, it shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR to amend such permits as may be necessary because of changes and/or substitutions and subsequently obtain, in writing, necessary regulatory agency approval. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to certified small business vendors. Only businesses that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article, 14-501-14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and that are certified by GOSBA Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes The Work covered under this Contract shall include but is not limited tothe following items: 1. Mobilize and demobilize construction equipment. 2. Provide submittals required in the Specifications and revise the submittals as required until they meet the requirements of the Specifications to the satisfaction of KO AND COR. 3. Implement temporary erosion and sediment control measures and maintain erosion and sediment control measures throughout the Project. 4. Conductpost-constructionas-built surveys; construction stakeouts; andprovideas-built certifications. Provide surveys to the GOVERNMENT in both hard copy and electronic files. 5. Clear and grub entire construction area within limits of disturbance. 6. Perform selective demolition including but not limited toexisting lights, concrete slab, curb, and paving. 7. Mill and re-surface existing asphalt paving. 8. Remove existing wheel stops from parking lotandinstallnewconcrete wheel stops after re-surfacing and paving is complete. 9. Grade site and construct drainage swales. 10. Furnish and install asphalt paving. 11. Furnish and install concrete paving. 12. Furnish and install concrete curb and gutter. 13. Furnish andinstallpermanent stormwater management features such as planting. 14. Furnish temporary electrical power, lighting, andcommunication equipment (including security lighting and telephone service). 15. Miscellaneous sitework including cleanup, site restoration, temporary and permanent vegetation of areas disturbed during construction. 16. Perform allotherWork thatisnot specifically defined inthisPart1.01.B ofthisSection but shown on the Drawings and described in these specifications.
