Rt 66 Monument Signs

Project. The City of Flagstaff Route 66 Monument Signs is a project to install three (3) new monument signs along East Route 66 at locations 8, 9 and 10 as shown on the Civil Plans, attached as Exhibit D. The monument signs are 16' tall malpais (basalt) stone pillars tapering up from a 6' x 6' square base. Each sign has a horizontal timber pole near the top from which the hanging panel sign will read "Route 66". All three (3) signs will be located within a public Right-of-Way and not on private property parcels. This summary is not a comprehensive account of the work. The plan sets, specifications, and special provisions shall be considered a comprehensive detail of the work to be performed. Note: Bidders are responsible for considering any underground rock work they deem necessary for completing the Project. Costs for rock considerations must be incorporated in the line items of the bid schedule. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder whose bid is responsive to this Invitation for Bids and will be most advantageous to the Owner.
